This is a unique, mixed use project with office and retail space. The includes two vertical towers 50 feet in height on each side of a two story centrally located flight- chamber. The building is open to the public for the recreational sport of skydiving. Two high velocity, roof-mounted fans direct high velocity wind down the end towers then continue horizontally through a basement tunnel structure, and then diverted upward though the centrally located air-inlet of the flight-chamber creating a 170 mile per hour wind up-draft up to the second floor flight-chamber. After suiting up with the required skydiving gear and activating the air system, the users enter the glass-enclosed flight chamber and are suspended by a 170 mph updraft replicating the same sensation as free-falling from an airplane jumping from a height of 30,000-40,000 feet. The flight chamber is located on the second floor surrounded by a public observation area for viewing. Other support areas include a training room, gear room, and vending area. The first floor includes a retail store and staff offices.
